As we collectively continue to travel on our planet Earth spinning within the abyss of the cosmos, Lomaka creates a fresh new set of work titled ‘The Cosmic Voyage’ to compliment the release of her new sculpture ‘Through Time and Space’.
The vibrant and colourful limited edition prints are inspired by Olga Lomaka’s ‘Pink Magic’ series and feature the iconic Pink Panther cartoon image, which was made famous by the late Peter Sellers who played the hapless detective Jacques Clouseau in films from 1963. Olga Lomaka’s Pink Panther represents the male form and explores a multi layered interface of meaning through a rich panoply of sources; from the artistic, to mass media, to the unexplained and less obvious. The Pink Panther is a vehicle of association, which crosses numerous media and contexts.
‘Aliens’ is a new series of sculptures by Olga Lomaka where she continues to explore a multilayered interface of meaning through a rich panoply of sources from our collective consciousness.
